With leadership experiences in both Minority Serving Institutions and Hispanic Serving Institutions, Dr. Valente has a record of leadership in advancing campus-wide inclusive excellence efforts towards equity in student success outcomes training and integrating multicultural competence outcomes in diversity awareness programming. If your institution is seeking to eliminate racial and socioeconomic achievement gaps, Dr. Valente can provide the consultation needed, individually or with a cohort of associates, to work towards our moral and existential imperative to eliminate equity in student success outcomes, and also achieving greater outcomes for all students.

External Grants Evaluator
Helping ensure quality of delivery and assessment of outcomes is a key component to submitting and, more importantly, earning a grant for your institution. Dr. Valente is available to serve as an external reviewer for grants from the Department of Education or various private foundations. With a combined total that exceeds $25M, he has led and evaluated Title III and Title V grants, along with grants from nearly a dozen private foundations and associations.
Whether its for external accreditation or internal efficacy, a focus on continuous improvement is critical. Through extensive use of industry standards and peer bench-marking, Dr. Valente is available, individually or with a cohort of associates, to conduct an extensive external review and compose recommendations for departmental or divisional continuous improvement. Dr. Valente's experience in student affairs leadership or supervision of a broad portfolio of student affairs and academic support departments can be utilized for a wide array of departmental or divisional external reviews.
